HOW MANY MINUTES OF MY LIFE HAVE BEEN WASTED?

ARE THE REST OF YOU ALL WONDERING HOW MANY MINUTES OF YOUR LIFE HAVE BEEN CUT OFF SINCE WE NOW HAVE TO DIAL THE DANG AREA CODE BEFORE EVERY LOCAL CALL? I AM GOING TO LOSE MY MIND! IT BEEN LIKE TWO WEEKS AND I AM STILL NOT USED TO IT. DOES ANYONE HAVE SOME TIME-SAVING HINTS ON PHONES?

Oh--I hate it so bad! I changed all of my memory dials to the 801. But--the neighborhood/ward thing is driving me nuts. I wish I could program my phone to automatically do the 801 prefix--whether I do it or not. Although that may be awkward when I'm trying to dial out of state--hehe.

I hate it!!!! It makes me feel like the pioneers or whoever when they had 4 numbers to dial then they changed it to 7. (I think thats what happened) I know that when Harriett Olsen got the first phone on Walnut grove I think she only had to dial a few numbers and werent they somewhat like pioneers. Man listen to me babble, think of all the phone calls I could have made during this babble session! See family this is why I rarely comment since it never makes much sense!

I hate it too and I am still not use to it. I also dial the phone number twice. The first time I get that stupid message reminding me of how dumb I am again to not remember the 801. I still don't get why we have to do it. Are we the only state doing this? Are we really that over populated that we have to do this? Okay, I am in a bad mood again over the whole thing. JK :)

This post reminds me of the youtube video going around about how technogically advanced we've become and yet we're never happy. It's kind of funny. Poor Mrs. Oleson. Nelly was evil.

Ryan- I am never commenting again! What the crap are the folks on walnut grove? They wear bonnets, do pioneers things so i think they should be called some form of pioneer. I almost called them pilgrims but thank goodness I thought that one through!

Amy Webster's dictionary defines a pioneer as 2 a: a person or group that originates or helps open up a new line of thought or activity or a new method or technical development b: one of the first to settle in a territory

I think the Olsen's and Ingels were one of the first to settle walnut grove. I hope this makes you feel better. Sorry that Ryan and Lisa are picking on you.
