GIVE THANKS...

In this month of giving thanks.....I would like to "Give Thanks" for my teenagers. A word of advice if you have been blessed with teenagers at this stage of your life. Never buy blocks that form lovely sayings, such as "Give Thanks".

Your teens will undoubtedly suddenly become very adept at vocab..... and anagrams, and whatever other creativeness flows through their spunky little bods....

A little story behind this one.......I have to constantly watch to make sure things are on the "up and up". We nearly had a disaster moments before Ward Book Club in my home started.....however, I was unable to avoid the above "blockage". I become so used to them being switched around that I invited a friend in, only a day after "Give Thanks" was back in place.....But Alas, we were visiting in the family room and she was seated right across from the fireplace......of course. And of course.....it wasn't until after she left that I noticed the "Give Stink" blocks. What must she think of us???

The same thing happened at our house-with my Family and Spring blocks-I usually don't notice it till after guests have left. I think I'll have to get some Give Thanks blocks just for the. Humor factor if nothing else-hehe.

Hi Natalie,

This is quite funny - I am so glad you took pictures! Very creative teenagers.

P.S. Nate had a great time at your house the other night - He says you have the coolest basement he has ever seen. Thanks for having him over.

Lurker here!

This made me laugh out loud! I guess there are some perks to having teenagers.

I am laughing so hard!!! I want blocks like that! I'm so glad you captured the images! I hope the neighbor noticed the blocks and has been pondering the message. Maybe she thought about and then went home and "gave stink" to her family - you know, pay it forward and all that.
